The majority of Katalyst`s technical staff originate from the telecoms, broadband and new media marketplaces with experience of the UK, European and US flavours of key technology.

Within access technologies of Broadband, Fibre and VoIP Katalyst is able to assist in defining key access equipment, infrastructure and content requirements.

Katalyst has also extensive experience of delivering application content onto mobile handsets to assist the rollout and take up of location based services.  Katalyst is able to specify, develop and test both Java and Symbian applications. Our business development team is able to introduce these applications into the handset manufacturers and mobile network operators.

Since investing in their own speech analytics platform, Katalyst consultants have become experts in the area of voice analytics and phonetics

Technology Design & Implementation Projects Undertaken

Katalyst was requested to source a low cost GPS phone out of the Far East. Whilst Katalyst was able to identify a number of Chinese manufacturers, upon further investigation the development of a Symbian mobile application was infact the correct strategy.  Katalyst was able to write the design specification and then contracted with developers to build and test the application.  Katalyst consultants were then requested to visit the 3GSM Expo in Barcelona to target handset manufacturers.  Katalyst was able to sign two partnership deals with the top two handset manufacturers
